Sideline Policy:
A maximum of three (3) approved coaches/managers are permitted on the player sideline at any given time.
An underage coach must never be left alone with the players.
The head coach must be present at all times when players are on the sideline.
For U9 and above after your game is complete please call in your scores to the GotSoccer system. Please only enter scores, do not report cards – cards are tracked through a different system. You will need your game number in addition to the information listed below.
GLASA and our partner associations schedule over 2,000 games each season at our soccer complexes. Initially we try to accommodate Head Coaches who coach multiple teams so their games do not overlap, but as the season goes on this becomes more of a challenge as dates and fields get tight.
Our reschedule policies allow for a reschedule request due to a school or church event that effects enough players on your team to prevent you from fielding a minimum playable roster. We DO NOT schedule around other sports or team schedules.
Teams should have an Asst. Coach or parent, background checked and on the roster so they can step in and coach in case of a conflict for the Head Coach.
Please keep in mind that each reschedule request not only effects your team, but all of the players and families of your opponent who have already made plans around their existing schedule.
With all of the teams we have it is not possible to check with each team and opponent prior to rescheduling a game.
If you do have a reschedule request, please forward it to your Commissioner at least two weeks prior to the originally scheduled game.
